LiveGraph vs Lindy

Lindy sells the “AI employee”: describe the job in words, get a worker that does it. What you don't get is the wiring — there is no orchestration graph to open, so when a run goes somewhere you didn't intend, your tools are its logs and its judgment.

LiveGraph is the opposite trade. The agent hierarchy is the product: a canvas you can watch while the run executes — and edit, while it executes, when a hop is headed the wrong way.

Side by side

DimensionLindyLiveGraph
The orchestration graphNot exposed — agents are configured through forms and conversation, never drawn. The product itself — a visible, editable graph of agents, routers, and approval gates, before and during the run.
Mid-run steeringNo documented way to redirect a run mid-flight — inferred from absent features, not a verified limitation.Stays live — every hop is visible while it executes, and dragging an edge changes where this run goes next.
Human approval gatesApproval steps exist, at pre-wired points — pause → approve/reject → resume.Run-level gates that park at the approvals queue, plus per-tool-call gates (e.g. a single http_request endpoint) — the pending payload is always visible to the approver.
Model rosterNot evaluatedPer-node provider and model — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint; your call per node.
Run audit trailNot evaluatedEvery hop lands as an ordered run event — input, output, the routing explanation, and its cost — and approval decisions are stamped with who and when.
HostingHosted only — no self-host option.Hosted web app at livegraph.ai.
PricingUsage-metered credits — billing complaints dominate its negative reviews.Flat team price — runs are never metered. Model usage on hosted keys is metered on top; your own keys are never marked up.

Competitor rows are limited to claims verified in our own research — "Not evaluated" means we didn't check, not that the capability is missing. On the LiveGraph side, one nuance: runs started from chat or the canvas Run button are steerable; unattended runs (API, schedules, webhooks) run pinned to the graph they started on — steering is a watched-run feature, by design.

When Lindy is the better pick

  • You want the five-click “AI employee”. If the buyer is non-technical and the job fits a template — inbox triage, scheduling, CRM updates — Lindy's guided setup is genuinely faster, and inspecting a graph would be a burden, not the point.
  • You never want to see the wiring. Some teams want an appliance, not a control surface. If “why did it do that” isn't a question you're on the hook to answer, the closed-builder model is a reasonable choice.

The bet underneath both products is the same — that agents do real work. They differ on what happens the first time the work goes wrong: Lindy asks you to trust it, LiveGraph shows you the graph and hands you the edges.

See it yourself

The live demo runs a real multi-agent graph in your browser — no signup, no API key — including the mid-run edge drag. If the canvas earns it, an account takes a minute.
